This is an original painting by Mr Hooper of Nashville Tennessee. It is a depiction of a cat named Lewis. Lewis is seen here wearing a jacket and bowtie, but he rarely dresses up this nice. Lewis is dressed up to go to the wedding of the youngest daughter in his adopted family. This is the same little girl who insisted on calling Lewis "Snowball," which he truly hated. His name was Lewis and it was printed on the adoption papers in black and white. Needless to say, Lewis would never respond to Snowball and the little girl learned over time just how sweet a cat could be as long as she showed him the proper respect.
